The Sociedad Unión Musical “Santa Cecilia” from Caudete (Albacete) will be conducted by Javier Pérez Garrido at the end of March. The concert which is being rehearsed since January will be performed in Caudete's Municipal Auditorium (March 29th, 7:00 p.m.). The compositions will be: Children's March by Percy Grainger, Olympica by Jan Van der Roost, Cloudburst by Eric Whitacre and the premiere of Anniversary Overture and Beethoven is dancing Salsa! both of them composed by Javier Pérez Garrido.
Javier Pérez Garrido has just finished a concert band conducting course. His teacher has been the conductor and composer Andrés Valero-Castells, one of the most important Spanish musicians. This event took place in Manzanares, Ciudad Real at the beginning of August.

The Asociación Músico Cultural “Julián Sánchez Maroto”from Manzanares has been conducted by Javier Pérez Garrido during the closing concert of the First National Music Instrumental & Conducting Course in Manzanares, Ciudad Real, Spain -August 10th, 2014-.
Javier Pérez Garrido is going to be guest conductor at the Unión Musical Santa Cecilia de Caudete concert band to premiere his last work, the band composition titled Santo Grial. Appart from the premiere of this work, based on the Holy Grail legend, he will also conduct his composition Asociación Musical El Castillo, Op.24, First Prize an Honorable Mention by XVI Nacional Concert Band Composition Competition Villa de Pozo Estrecho (Spain, 2008).
Anniversary Overture and Marcha del Ditirambo have been performed last weekend under the baton of Pérez Garrido. The concert bands Asociación Musical "El Castillo" (A. Martínez Ferrándiz, conductor) and Unión Musical de Serón (J. Pérez Domene, conductor) played two different concerts in Serón, Almería, Spain. The bands wanted to pay homage to Pérez Garrido and the composer was friendly invited to conduct his works in front of a big audience that enjoyed them very much.
