José Chafer has started a great Cd recording in Murcia this week. Manu Mellaerts, Slawomir Cichor, Raúl García and Javier Artigas will be playing during some of the recordings as well as the Banda Sinfónica del Conservatorio Superior de Murcia concert band and conductor Luis Pedrón.

José Rafael Pascual Vilaplana, Javier Pérez Garrido, Enrique Alborch, Erik Morales, Kevin McKee, K. Grzeszczak y Jim Stephenson are the selected composers for this Cd, that will have some first recordings due to the reason that all pieces are recently composed works -some of them dedicated to José Chafer-

Javier’s recording work is the Concertino de los Filabres, Op.54, a concert in spanish music style for four trumpets and concert band commissioned by José Chafer and International Trumpet Guild in 2012 and premiered in Michigan during the festival (2013) by José Chafer, Rex Richardson, Richard Stoelzel and James Ackley with a great success.
