The Didsbury High School Symphonic Winds under the musical direction of Kirk Wassmer will perform for the first time in Canada the composition A trip to Spain composed by Javier Pérez Garrido. This easy concert band suite describes the most representative Spanish cities (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville and Granada) and was worldwide premiered during their Spanish tour, 2015.

The concert will be at the TransCanada Theatre in Olds, Alberta (June 13th, 19.00 p.m.). In addition to this composition, the concert will include other works by Richard Saucedo, Johnnie Vinson, Samuel Hazo and Steven Reineke.
