Javier will stay as a composer in residence at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where he also have two premieres with the Symphony Band under the direction of Dr. Kristin Tjornehoj. The concert, at William Abott Concert Hall (December, 9th) will have the first world performance of a new version of Concertino de los Filabres, for 2 solo trumpets and band, as well as the American premiere of his sinfonietta nº1, Op.63 Last Day of the Dinosaurs, a piece commissioned by Banda Sinfónica del C.I.M. "La Armónica de Buñol" for being premiered during the WASBE Conference, 2019.

Gradually, the music composed by Javier is gaining relevance in the United States with new recognitions by important American competitions, musicians and industry. The result of this, is their recent collaboration in Florida with the Christ's Church Academy Band in Jacksonville and director Lee Ponder with the world premiere of the Fandango in Florida! and the American premiere of the concert for solo tenor saxophone and band Urban Concert, Op.60, his double award at the Global Music Awards for the album Obertura Heroica -recorded by Spanish Navy Band and Commander Jaime Enguídanos- and his nomination to Best Emerging Artist by the Akademia Music Awards in Los Angeles.
