II. Allegro marciale
III. Largo contemplativo e con espressione - Sostenuto solemne - Tempo I, ma un poco più mosso
IV. Finale (Allegro molto e con fuoco - Calmo - Tempo I)

This duo is dedicated to two of the lowest brass instruments. The composition, developed in four movements, has been built using some neotonal motives and harmonic patterns such as the melodic line of the forbidden interval -augmented fourth-. The counterpoint always is distributed on proportional formal sections and enhances the importance of the two performers. At the end, there will be a passionate Allegro molto e con fuoco where the players will show their vistuosism to the audience.
