Solo clarinet performer and Cd recording

18:30 min. aprox.

This work describes a jellyfish from two different points of view: the animal and the mythological figure.

Program notes

I. Preludio
II. Confrontación

There is a controversy about Medusa and an artist. While Medusa kill everything that is living with her eyes an artist can give live to a dead object. Inside this composition, surrounded by the mediterranean sea (cd recording contains waves, wind, seagulls, etc.) a simple jellyfish turns into the mythological figure, and starts a battle in a middle of the night for killing her enemies (a big storm appears on the composition).

Optional: It can be performed as an multidisciplinary project, next to visual artists, videoart, dance, sculpture, etc.
