Javier Pérez Garrido has achieved a remarkable milestone in his academic career by obtaining a Doctorate with honors from the University of Murcia. His doctoral thesis has made history as the first methodological approach designed specifically for clarinetists to learn flamenco.

On this occasion, together with the American organization Fifteenen Minutes of Fame in New York, Javier himself has made the world's first recording of 30 solo clarinet romances dedicated to him by composers from all over the planet, collecting a wide variety of proposals and musical styles.
