These duos are really influenced by American military music. The Introducción is clearly brilliant. The second movement, Marcha Fúnebre, is a sad funeral march -played without snares and in a slow tempo-. By way of hope, the last part titled Invención is a counterpoint developed musical number that ends in a lively and virtuous way.
